I have always been a GM guy. 60 years old and only owned one car in my lifetime that was not GM. It was a $500 red VW that got me through college. Towing was first a renter pup with my Chevy S-10 PU. First pup we owned towed with a Chevy mini van. First camper trailer with a 1500 suburban. Next was a 3500 gas duly. Next 3500 diesel duly. Third 3500 diesel duly. All Silverados. Won't even consider anything else but a 3500 duly diesel for towing. 8 foot bed for carrying plywood and dry wall, and crew cab for lots of passenger space. I want the truck I can tow just about anything or haul just about anthing.
