Boils down to personal taste
My 4x4's and TV's have been getting bigger with each new one...
Wanted a 1 ton, 15 passenger, 4x4 van...but no 4x4 from any OEM. Didn't like/trust
any of the 4x4 conversion kit's at that time
Settled for my current Suburban.
Wanted the manual tranny, but the now 'ex' wanted an auto and the option mix
she insisted dictated an automatic
I make do and modify most of my vehicles within the law and budget.
If Nissan/Toyota came out with a +8K GVWR or higher GVWR, 4x4 full sized SUV/Van,
I'd seriously check them out and most likely jump to it...maybe not what with
the pricing today
