All the arguments I have heard for a short box do not really apply to the mega.
A few reasons and not in any particular order. Long box trucks of any kind are just ugly (personal opinion). Turning radius, the longer the truck the more room required to turn. Space in my shop/garage. I use my truck only for towing my toy hauler, so there is no advantage to having a long box. If I need to haul something I use one of my other 2 trucks which are also short box, or else my trailers.
I guess it just doesn't seem like the MC is enough shorter to make a differce, but it must be!
I think it's a 8" difference in 2010+, where in 06-09 the MC SB was the exact same as a QC LB.
It is nice to see that Dodge finally gave the MC DRW a decent tow rating.
