All the arguments I have heard for a short box do not really apply to the mega.
Actually the Megacab is shorter than the crew cab with 8' box. I found this out when beginning to shop for a Ram because the crew cab long box was 1" too long to fit into my garage. The Megacab is exactly the same length as my F-350 Supercab long box was and fits in no problem. I would have preferred the 8' box but did not want my truck sitting outside so had to make the compromise.
I now actually like the Megacab dually because it is quite rare in this area!
Too funny. I got the 6.5' bed on my truck because the 8' would not fit in garage. Now one of my daughters moved home and took my garage spot so my truck is outside and I could have the 8' bed...
