- JumboJetExplorerNice looking older TC.
- realterExplorerI've come to the conclusion after 36 years, my wife only likes "campers" ending in inn. Days,Holiday,Comfort,America,Hampton, etc. best of luck.
- clikrf8ExplorerI am a wife. What's not to like about your TC? Storage is a problem? Don't bring so much stuff. I know, we overloaded at first but now, after 30,000 miles of truck camping, we leave most of what we initially brought home. And, we gals like our sit down potties which we have on our Hallmark. Maybe that is the problem if yours doesn't have a real toilet. Some posters on our RV forums for 5ers, coaches and Class Cs bring jewelry, many changes of clothes, entire sets of pots and pans, etc. I guess we are simpler and don't bring anything that is extraneous. To each there own. Did she say why she hates it? Looks nice to me.
- edbehnkeExplorerso, you are just like the rest of us....upgrade.
make sure your wife will like your next one... unless you are quite well to do. - DutchmenSportExplorerJust goes to prove once and again ... If momma ain't happy, no one is happy.
So... there's an easy solution .... Just purchase a new TT and tow it. You'd have your TC and she'd have a TT. Problem solved! - Old_DaysExplorer IIThat is what we like about Truck campers being able to park anywhere. Plus if a camp ground is full we can usually get a tent campground site.

So, let me get this straight -- 352 is in Oxford, and his wife does not like the camper and wants a fifth wheel. Lap527 is in Ocala, 20 miles away, and her husband prefers a fifth wheel, while she wants a TC.
There is a solution lurking in that fact pattern somewhere . . . . . ;)
Hahahaha! Good one! - bill_harrExplorerYou started the wrong way. We tent camped rented a 34 RV for a trip to SD one time. Could not find places to park that big thing. Now she is happy with OurFWC Hawk
- Bob__BExplorerI looked at a TC like that one ......not sure if the exact same model or not. I liked the side entry.
The thing I didn't like about it was the lack of storage space. There wasn't even any storage under the dinette on the one I looked at.
If it weren't for the storage issue, I would have serieously considered buying it.
Yours may not be that same model .....but I would have the same issue with the wife with the one I have now if we had a tripple slide 5er first.:) - 352Explorer

You mean the 5th had to go first?
Nothing has to go. If the wife does not want to go in the slide in then I part with it. We still have the 5er. I bought a cheap little slide in pop up that I will use when I to go to the woods. Has a sink, 18 gallon water tank, gas heater and a gas fridge. No toilet and no shower but I do have a toilet seat that hooks up to my reese hitch. With all of those luxuries I feel like a king.
