At the last RV show, I was speaking with a couple and the wife wanted the largest fifth wheel available while the husband wanted something under 30'. I asked her if she was willing to share some of the driving plus be a spotter in those tight parks or fueling stations. I also asked her if she was willing to give up visiting or camping in some areas because the size of her desired trailer. I think I helped out the husband but I was probably black listed from talking to him further. I didn't find out if they actually bought anything much less the size of the unit.
I cannot justify turning over vehicles every other year, so my decisions have to last much longer. If you are in a position where you can pick up a new Class C for about the price of a pickup, maybe you should try it for a couple years?
