We were thinking about a different RV. Our last trip changed our mind back. It was simply way more convenient to stay with what we have. I will say traveling with kids in a Class A is pretty awesome. We had a Class A when the kids were growing up. With the huge windows, the view is so much better from every seat in the coach.
I don’t believe Class As are unsafe. The data I’ve found says RVs in general are safer than other vehicles if you are talking fatalities. Sure, some RVs don’t have a solid structure, but many do, but they cost more.

At 26 deaths per year, the rate of RV deaths has an average fatality rate of 1/3 of the average rate of all vehicles or 0.44per 100 million vehicles miles versus 1.48 for all vehicles in the US.
