As I remember that model of camper is not designed for a short bed truck. The rear tie down points will be too far back. The center of gravity will likely be farther back than you'll want it. I have no idea if the rear structure of the camper is designed to be unsupported for the last 18" but I doubt it.
My own 11' camper's floor used to hang off the back of an 8' bed and it has a little drop in the floor from that point rearward. Now that I carry it on a custom built flatbed that is 8' 5" long it is supported slightly farther rearward. The floor does not drop as bad this way. There's no way I'd want to carry it around on a short bed.
