Will my load limit handle this

On this forum, After lots of help figuring what my truck will handle.
Looks like weight limit is 7700 lbs.

An F150 flex fuel with tow package.

Is it likely I could find a TT, that has opposing slides,
that would fall in this weight range.

I’ll research more about my particular vehicle issues
brakes, Tran, drive train

If such a TT exists.
My question is do any fall in that range an model if u know

  • What do you mean by "weight limit is 7,700"? Do you mean tow rating, GVWR, payload?
7,700 seems really low for a tow rating. It's way too high to be your payload. So, I assume that's the truck's GVWR? That has nothing to do with how much trailer you can tow. That's the max weight you should have on the truck's axles.
  • With an F150 your issue is going to be PAYLOAD. Look on the door sticker and see what your payload is.
  • F150 with flex fuel doesn’t tell us anything. What kind of F150 is it?
  • With a 7700 tow limit your payload is in the 1400 range?
  • You need to weigh your complete truck with you and everything inside of it that you anticipate taking with you. If you have a regular cab, 2wd truck with a 7700 lb GVWR, you will have a lot more payload capacity than if you have a 4 door 4wd truck.

Weight limits are GCWR and GVWR, primarily. You will need to know your loaded gross vehicle weight so you can subtract it from these two numbers to get your ratings. Do NOT rely on the manufacturer's supposed "tow rating," as it assumes that you weigh something like 150 pounds, won't have any more passengers, and won't carry anything in your truck.
