Duty cycle is 2:3 or 40 minutes out of every hour. That is at an ambient temperature of 20 c (68 f).
So 16 hours with flame, 8 hours with out which increases to the daily draw to 16 * .6 + 8 * .2 = 9.6 + 1.6 = 11.2 an increase of 1.6 and still within the limits of the panel.
Since he goes up weekly, being short a couple amps each day wouldn't be a problem if he wants to charge it up with the generator. But idea situation is having solar completely cover the needs so he could go a couple weeks without visiting.
He could also remove the parasitic draws by removing fuses as necessary. All safety devices are usually on a single fuse.
Now, if the unit is old enough, it may be one without a controller board which would remove any current draw for the refrigerator. Today, I only know of the Norcold 300 which doesn't have a controller board. Makes it nice because in LP and 120V modes, it doesn't require 12V.
