More TC's should do just that or atleast an option too, just for the reasons you described...Less noise and they require less power..None of this, will your little Honda run this AC..
I am seriously thinking about doing a redneck install of one..The ones I find on google modded into the rear window and ladder rack, look stable, with the ladder rack for outside support.
But for now,it is easy just to throw it in if the weather is going into the 90's plus.
