I just change out the blade (rubber part) twice a year, as the OEMs have summer and winter compounds
Trying the newer blade holders and don't have enough time on them to have an opinion. Though found one has replaceable rubber part
Tried them because the old setup was starting to rust
I always carry spare rubber blade replacements and a gallon of wiper fluid (303 tablets in case need to make more fluid)
I do lift the blade to rest it square and not allow it to sit long bent over. Do that whenever the wipers are used and when get out, lift them to sq them to the glass
