Mine has leaked from time to time. Two things. Make sure there is a way for water to drain away from the housing. The last guy who sealed the roof put too much caulk around the base creating a pool. Then you have to lubricate the base of the unit. I used spray silicone lube around base. There there may be a removable plug near the base. Remove the plug and spray in there also.
