- The biggest change in engines is the all new gas burners from Ford and GM. It is going to be interesting to see how they test, what they cost and what the take rate is. I think that they are going to be very appealing to people that mostly drive locally. If diesel fuel keeps a 30% margin over gasoline a lot of people that can have their needs met by the new engines may also be taking a good look at them even for long trips. Bring on the shootouts!
- I think all the towing capabilities will be somewhat similar on the big 3. So I see people going for what brand they want, instead of the brands that they need, just for tow ratings. Definitely a good time to be a truck enthusiast.
