Yes and that is why we have some concerns. If you look at the manufacture brochure for this camper it is clearly sitting on top of an F150 short bed. Yes, I did include the weights of the Wolf Pack mandatory items onto my calculations. I appreciate the emails.
I replied...I have exactly what your looking at. You calculate all you want. I own the camper and it SUNK my 3/4 ton trucks stock suspension. This was with full propane, 10 gallons of water and just enough food for one night. Nothing else as we were going for our first overnight to test the new camper out. It was SO scary, I didn't make 2 miles before turning around and heading home.,I then ordered lower stableloads...it worked ok. Then I added bags. I was maxed out....and WAY over on my tires...which were e rated at 3495 lbs. This camper will weigh 3500 if you load light. This a real world, scaled number.
Sorry man, just being real.It is too much for a half ton...it is too much for my 3/4 ton by manufacturers numbers as well. I had to bandaid my suspension....I wouldn't think of it with a semi floater rear axle, light duty tires and 1/2 ton suspension. You need more truck for the 840....
