I do have to add, in 1992, I drove round trip to Alaska with my parents in a Ford Econoline van. We pulled a popup Jayco and all was swell until we were driving highway speed going south through the Yukon and the L rear wheel AND AXEL popped out, punctured up in between the full dual fuel tanks, swung around striking the back of the van and front of the camper and then off into the wilderness!!! Holy macanoly! That was scary! So, that immediately came to mind when the person posted the concern is the axel stress! Ford had us all fixed up and on the road in 2 days, which was amazing for where we were! But, I have never forgotten that scare!
