The most complaints that Ive seen regarding Northwood RVs are from the newer years. I would say mostly 2013-2014. Some detailed accounts have been posted on the Northwood Owners forum. The folks that post on that site are all Northwood owners (TC, 5th wheel and TT's). Prior to 2012 it was unusual to read about any QC issues. There is no doubt in my opinion since the economy got better that a lot of the experienced work force have moved on. My 2010 had absolutely no QC issues and I consider it the best RV that Ive owned to date.
