A friend bought a single axle Lance a couple years ago, and had the round foot of the tongue jack slide off the top surface of a lego block one day when she failed to get the tires securely chocked.
Not sure if you can see what I've done here, but I cut down the inner parts of the risers of a block, to make a depression there that is the same diameter of the foot under her jack. Once the foot is lowered down in there, it's pretty much locked in place.


Good engineering on the plastic block. Curious, what is that holder/vice pictured in your last image? Is that some type of specialty tool or standard machinist gear from days gone by?
