For getting under vehicle I use big sheets of cardboard on the concrete to slide on, they are quite slippery and a lot easier to slide on then the concrete.
So you jack up with the jacks (DUH) and then set the jack stands and use the bottle jacks as backup.
Good idea. The cardboard would be a good idea for a campsite if needed, where you couldn't use a creeper.
