A cheap ($45) Bluetooth Gateway paired with your cellphone will enable you to use a temp monitor/alarm ($130-$160) to call you if the temp goes above your preset temp.
You are still dependent on cell service.
We live in Florida and every year children and pets die from being left in cars.
We won't leave our dog in the Rv more than a few hours mid day esp in the full sun. I agree that in shade with two open windows and fans the dogs won't suffer damage. Might pant but not hurt or kill them.
I have thought about making a redneck bucket AC with the fan connected to the inverter and leave it run as a backup.
We put our cell numbers on the door and we have a key hidden outside.
at football games there is alway someone who stays in the parking lot we know and they keep an eye/ear out. Problem there is usually no cell service so hence the key.
