I had this same issue as we would leave our 3 dogs in our TT at times while on vacation. I was the week after 4th of July, so I knew it would be hot!
I researched, and from the advice of people on here we purchased a "Connectasense" product. Go to the web site and it explains how it works etc etc..
Also, for what its worth, I was camping two weeks ago on a very hot and busy weekend, and out of the blue, the electric breaker popped on my site. Good thing I hadn't left, and left dogs inside TT or they could have very easily cooked.
