Would a Chevy 1500 HD be a good truck to tow with?

Keep in mind the tow rating was only about 8k for the 1500HD/3.73 with 14k GCWR. That's likely to be exceeded with a 7k dry TT. 4.10 is around 10k tow/16k GCWR. Much more appropriate for a 28' Springdale. 1500HD has plenty of payload, but power will be lacking IMHO even with 4.10 axle.
