Haven't towed yet. Truck in sig averaging 9.1mpg around town. The ride empty is bumpy. That said, I love my truck. The technology built into these newer trucks is mind boggling. The 6.2 is from the Boss racing line of engines. It likes to rev and rumble when pushed and still purrs like a kitten just crusing down the interstate. Six-speed trany delivers good range for towing and crusing.
