Well, Trans, I reread the above posts and I note that it didn't specify what kind/brand of diesel truck the owner chose to warm up before driving. When I had a diesel . . . Ford . . . I didn't wait to warm it up, either. That was simply the owner's choice.
But when I started up my diesel early, I sure felt bad for other campers. So noisy! With my gasser, that's a thing of the past.
Why is it that so many diesel owners put down people who own different brands, anyway? So childish. When I had my 2006 diesel, any number of people predicted that I would have so many problems with the engine. Never happened. In fact, in the two years I owned it, the only thing that failed was a tail light. But I still don't regret going with gas.
