Absolutely. The Cummins diesel does a great job of pulling my truck camper even up steep mountain roads. The diesel is even more important going down those steep mountain roads. The diesel brake means I can go down even the steepest roads without stressing my brakes. In fact I rarely need to touch the brakes. My first truck went 80K before it was totalled in an accident. The brakes pads were less than half worn.
