With the kind of terrain you are looking at, I wouldn't be too concerned. However, like Flyfisherman and others, I wouldn't want to coat the underbody and sides of my brand new camper with road salt, chemicals, and grime. I don't think I'd let it sit on the dealer's lot for months, since there is no telling what they might do to it, but I would wait until the roads are dry.
