If you are not experienced in towing through snow I wouldn't do it. Of course if I limited my RVing to sunny warm wx I would be really limited. I definitely would not tow in snow without 4WD and a set of chains available for the trailer or 5vers braking axle. Drove my new MH home last year over South Pass in Feb. (7550 ft) That was an experience. Drove real slow and didn't worry about the traffic behind me.
