Smart Move!!! My son in law tore the slide gaskets a couple of weeks ago putting out the slides. They were froze. I used mine many years ago for snow-sleding in the winter but always put the slides out before freezing and never closed them until spring. Never had any problems doing that, but I would never open the slides when frozen.
