Wow - Spring and summer went way too fast.

We have one last weekend for the season booked for the last week of September. I wanted to get one in October, but they're all booked up at our favorite close by campground.

After that it will be a thorough cleaning, winterizing, checking the roof seams and looking forward to spring.

I was just looking into campground availability for the rest of the month, and am surprised at how many provincial ones are already closed for the year. Will have to look elsewhere...

It really does not matter the tyoe of weather.We will go when we feel like it.

Today we are to be a hot 34C or 93F and then for the rest of the weel between 11C and 15C or 50F and 60F. Now that is confusing weather.

Here in Oregon our camping season gets really good after Labor day . Weather is great and crowds thin. Yes, time speeds up during those wonderful summer months.

The summer flew by, but we're just happy we had two nice camping trips this year (a week in Old Orchard Beach, Maine........ and a week in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
We also had the chance to initiate one of our granddaughter (4 years old) to a weekend of camping, and then our twin granddaughters (4 years old also) to another weekend..........and they all loved it and want to do it again next year.
We are now planning another weekend with another grandchild at the end of September.

Never a dull moment camping with kids and we love it.

Here in West TN we really haven't done "summer" this year, which is fine by me. That usually means 99/99% and we've only been in the 90's a handful of days. Gotta love those 80's. It seems like the season for camping, though, is flying by and we can't seem to catch up. Spring saw our annual FL baseball thing, then 2 weekend trips. Then deciding to sell the ROO and move to a TT....that took a chunk of time. We don't camp over holidays, so take those out of the list of possibilities. Did a week in N'ville and 2 really squeezed together very short trips that we enjoyed, but came back more exhausted than we were when we left. Looking at the calendar, next weekend is the last in Sept. We really need to get some Oct camping in and maybe one in Nov. Hoping that this pleasant summer won't mean payback time this winter. Afraid Rocky is feeling unloved....the ROO got to go out a lot more than we have this season. Can we get the world to spin just a bit slower for a while so maybe we can catch up?

BTW....NOT gonna buy the pink stuff yet....don't want to think about that right now.

Just seems like it was Memorial Day, now Labor Day is around the corner.
Will be getting ready for some winter camping in the near future, but for now, it is still Summer Time and lots of camping left to do.
