FYI, we purchased our (first RV) pop-up in 1999 for $6,000 and traded in 2004 (5 years). We sold it for $4000. Not bad, depreciation of only $2000 in 5 years! Prices have sure come up since then. But as I remember, that $6,000 back then seemed like a bazillion dollars to us, since we were still a very young family struggling financially.
