Okay, let me explain it this way, since it seems you both are missing my point.
If a person has something to sell that cost him $100, and then marks it up to $250 and then strikes that same price out with a big "X" and says it is on sale for $175, I suppose you would think that is a deal right? Is the guy not making a 75% profit?
There are some folk who shop sales and the degree of markdown is what hooks them. You surely know that so why is this so hard for you to understand? This is done all the time.
What is your point with persisting with this banal math exercise?
As many have said over and over again - there are 2 ways (or more!) that one can look at something and if one comes here with a closed-minded attitude then (a) nothing is learned, and (b) it actually reflects poorly on one. That is why my first reply to you was a bit in disbelief because I was not sure where you were coming from, but your second post clarified that.
Lets just agree to LISTEN to one another and give others credit for some intelligence. You don't like my posts or my viewpoint, just move on ... I don't mind, honestly.
