By the way, the Excursion with the 6.8L V10 and 3.73 rear didn't really have the power I thought it would. Passing gear seemed sluggish at 50mph. Was not really impressed with the big V10 block even off the line. Seems like the 5.3 and 6.0 push rods from GM are more capable engines. Maybe it was just the gearing. I think for offered a 4.10 rear in its big X but it was optional.
