I started with pickups in 1982 and RV’s in 1988 but didn’t get my first truck camper until 2012. I learned as I went and have no regrets of the purchases I have made. I am not afraid to modify the truck as my needs change but also know there is a limit. Then it is time to reset the base platform and start again. The shortest length of truck ownership was seven years and the longest 16 - RV’s has been 3-15 years.
