Cat Scales can be quite the eye opener. As long as I'm well under tire, rim, and Axle MFG rating I consider it good. I have a 2300 pound margin on the rear axle, and 750 pounds of spare rating on each 19.5 rim and the tires can carry 1000 pounds load each to spare, on the fronts I have over 2000 to spare all around, works for me. your comfort zone may vary
