- DieselXExplorerWe stayed at a campground just outside of Zion a few weeks ago, Zion was full. It was nice, behind a hotel haha I can't remember the name of it but the shuttle still picked us up and took us to the park no charge.
Here is a pic of our campsite. - Majja13ExplorerI have not been to Zion but all the dump stations I have dumped at here in Utah have potable water. Usually one spigot that has signage that says potable water not for use in toilet flushing

I am NOT saying that this is not the case, but does it explicitly say "potable" fresh water?
I have never seen potable water at any dump station, but then I have not seen all the dump stations in North America either. There is fresh water at the dump station but I usually see signs saying that it is not for drinking. Just wondering ...
In the midwest and Lake States, many places I've been to have dump stations that have two sources of water. Right by where you get rid of your black water, there is a water source for flushing and rinsing you black water tank and hoses and this is clearly marked "not for drinking". On the far side of the dump station, usually about 75-100 feet away, is the fresh water spigot which is marked "potable water" and is used for filling your FW tank. This is pretty much SOP in the midwest, although may be different in other parts of the country. - Yes, good fill at Zion. Several locations.
Potable water is not at dump station per say. It is about 30 feet away and is marked. - wmosesExplorer

Yes it is potable at Zion and just about every other DS I have ever used. Usually a separate spigot forward of the non potable hose used to rinse your hose or any drips.
Thanks. Will look closer at these in Texas next camping trip. We don't drink from our fresh water tank so I never had the need to look for fresh water upon arrival at a campground. We only camp at water + electric or full hookups, so far. So when I go to the dump station I only see the non-potable water hose. - Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIYes it is potable at Zion and just about every other DS I have ever used.
