Looking good, D1. I agree, matching the curvature of the camper was the way to go. It might make for a lot more work but maintains the distinct 'Avion' form. I've been thinking about this VHB tape. How hard is it to remove? My worry would be having to get behind a taped panel for a future repair. Not that drilling and popping 1400 rivets is necessarily a better option. Also, did you eliminate the tank vent completely or just reroute it so it no longer protrudes thru the roof?
My corrugated water fill hose is just temporary, its swimming pool hose. The local hardware store didnt have the 1.25" clear hose I needed. Thanks for the heads up.
Contrary to most of my woodworking projects, on the Avion interior, I'm keeping all fasteners visible and accessible. I want quick and easy access to all the plumbing, electrical and LP. Just hope it doesn't end up looking too utilitarian.
