Howdy!
I thought these campers were made for traveling
not just tinkering!
Thanks for that reminder!!!! ??
My Excursion was in the Ford dealers shop from June 26th to January 26th getting the headers replaced. (Remember I live in Kodiak, AK). So my pickup has been the primary boat toater, kid and stuff hauler, ATV toater etc. so the camper has been sitting since last winters use. Now that the Excursion is home and we have no snow (as the F350 is also the snowplow truck), I hope to get the Avion on the truck as soon as I can seal up the front window better.
On another note, many here have bought or built support trailers to tow behind their TC's. I have been working on building my latest trailer. Scrounged a tandem axle trailer frame with 3500lb axles with brakes. It was a 19' travel trailer at one point, but now is just a frame. So now it will soon be a 19' flatbed multi purpose trailer. It will be able to haul three ATV's end loaded or four side loaded. But also it will do duty for firewood, car hauling or anything else a good size utility trailer will do. I'll add a string once I get a bit further along.
Garry.
