Actually our daughter will be there this week. She is a sensible person who bought a crew cab Toyota 4WD and mounted a 4Wheel camper on the back. There is no place that puppy won't go - and get back.
I placed my solar panels on the roof and that has worked well for me, except for my mishap last year that tore them off. All's well that ends well - they're pumping electricity to my NovaKool Fridge as I write.
