Fellow Avionistas, rather than searching the forum - quite a task these days - I wonder if anyone can give me info or direct me to posts that detail cleaning the outer skin and getting it as uniformly shiny as possible. I do not wish to polish the camper, only to make it as bright as the 60 year old anodized aluminum can be. Thanks in advance.
Incidentally, there has been discussion about painting the outer skin. I have now been told by a very experienced boat painter that with all the seams and rivets, the paint may be expected to pull apart and look less than wonderful in a fairly short time.
My next step will be to take Argo, the all-aluminum camper, to a vinyl wrap shop and have a conversation with them about the wrap approach. I will report back when I know more.
I will soon mount the camper on the truck permanently. You may expect pictures at that time.
