Brand new to the forum and I wanted to thank you all for this great thread full of useful info! I just bought a 1965 C-10 that is in decent condition but needs some work.
The previous owner disassembled a lot of the interior and began painting the walls. Luckily most of the parts are still here and it all appears to be in fairly good shape. He also stripped most of the anodizing and started to polish the aluminum. It looks like I'll be giving it a full polish job!
It fits great in my '77 F250, ignore the ratchet straps, they are there temporarily to hold it in place. I ordered the correct turnbuckles and will be making removable frame mounts.
