65, it is well worthwhile to get in touch with the source of this all, Cayo Repair in Watervliet, Michigan. In particular Chuck Cayo (cncayo at comcast dot net). As you probably know they were the original builders of the Avion and have deep institutional knowledge. They may also have parts that would be helpful.
