1968 C11: I'm not a real Avionista, rather kind of a guest here, and I have neither been following your situation close or even the details of this thread or these Avion rebuilds, but from a little reading this past little bit I'd add this...
Europe seems to be more of a small black water dump kind of place than the states, e.g. blue portable tanks and/or a cassette toilet or porta pottie dumping. If Avion toilets and parts are hard to find (for an original restoration type of job), I'd sure look into a modern and functional sort of "toilet and tank" for your situation. That's what I'm doing on my TC. Make it old school cool, while improving amenities to fit my needs.
By all means figure it out now and save on shipping costs for whatever you plan (inside the camper). Good luck!
