I lowered the floor by 1" and it all seems to fit better now with the rear end properly aligned. Thx for the guidance. Once the torrential rains stop in the next couple of days I will get all of it firmly assembled with glue and screws. Then jack mounts and more riveting. Then bunk wood. More riveting....etc etc etc. 6 more weeks till snow and would like it leak free by then!
