For rivets and tools try some local Aviation supply for small planes , they should have most of what you need . In the US , Vintage Trailer Supply carries those items .
Before opening up any of the shell seams I would suspect it is more likely to be the protrusions , roof vents , stove hood vent , refrigerator vent and windows .
Another place to look if the floor is soaked is the exterior aluminum angle that runs around the bottom of the floor . I found that it is put on with aluminum nails that look like rivets and they come loose leaving a good water access .
For sealant I like Trempro 635
