Garryk6...good luck with that, it will be a challenge.
I now have my C10 mounted on a 12' car trailer, Once you get by how wrong it looks to have a TC on a trailer,it grows on you. It actually may work out pretty good. Function over Form. The tie downs will be perfect. Tongue weight is right and adjustable by sliding the TC back or forth, and plenty of storage area. Not to mention how easy it is to get in and out, being that low.
I did end up raising the camper 8 1/2" using a combination of 2x6 screwed to the underside, and a 4"x4" frame with 3/4" ply platform.I also used a 4' x8' x 1/4' sheet of rubber to provide traction on the aluminium trailer floor.
Now I am just trying to figure out how to place and attach the grey water tank beneath the trailer.
I will post pictures soon, If you all promise not to laugh.....
