So, after over a year of analysis paralysis and picking away at problems, we've done something a little unorthodox with our Avion...we extended the nose! So far, it has not snapped in two. So, fingers crossed, it won't any time soon.
You may be right. I really got a ton of insight from this thread while I replaced the wings, floor, and bulwark. It was just this cab over extension that had me uncertain whether I was doing the right thing.
