who cares, if you have the room to put them in vertical but not enough to check water you can put a watering kit on. problem solved with out spending 3 times the money. just because you can doesn't mean you have to.

I cares. I don’t want flooded batteries and watering systems, period. If you want them and are ok with watering them, that’s your choice. My choice is to buy an AGM and enjoy NOT fiddling with it. Judging by your recent posts, it’s apparently just one of those things that will forever be a mystery to you. No problem, just accept it.
I didn’t spend three times the money, either. I spent more than the flooded Trojan batteries I was using, but not three times. Not even two times.
Just because “Crazy” is part of your forum name doesn’t mean you have to go bats*** crazy about what battery type other people use.
:):)
batteries are hardly a mystery to me, out here a 210AH flooded is 145.00, a 6V agm with the same capacity is 500.00 and a lithium with that capacity is 2000.00. would I have lithium if I could, of course, way lighter, smaller and you can tuck them anywhere, would I go AGM.. probably not, the benefits don't justify the price but if money wants an issue then ya but 290 for two 6v is a heck of a lot cheaper than 1000 for AGM, but if I couldn't have made the normal 6V batteries work I may have had to look at a different method. don't get me wrong I would still love lithium but right now but the price is a tough pill to swallow. maybe you guys get stuff a lot cheaper down there, good on ya if you do, to bad its not the same up here.
I don't care what someone ends up using I just merely pointed out that if it was only over head space that was an issue , the OP could still use lead acid with a watering kit to work around that and save money, then you jumped all over me ;)
