Steve, it sounds like I read your reply a little harsher than it was intended, so I’m sorry for jumping on you.
My camper only has room for a single battery, and group 31 is the largest that will fit, so that’s what I use
As far as the AGM battery I’m using now, it’s a VMAX Tanks SLR125. I paid $270 in 2015. It rated at 125 AH and weighs 75 lbs.
It’s about $290 now.

The flooded battery I used to have was a Trojan SCS125, and I could get them locally from a golf cart dealer for about $250, so they weren’t exactly inexpensive either. This battery has a 130 AH rating and weighs 67 lbs.
But, it only took ruining one of them (from neglect) for me to decide I need a maintenance free battery. I can’t remember what led me to the VMAX brand (probably somebody on this forum) but after checking them out I decided they were worth taking a chance on. I haven’t regretted buying it.
I have a Progressive Dynamics 4645 converter/charger maintaining it. There’s probably a better charger for AGM’s now, but I put that one in before I bought the VMAX.
