I have a 2006 3500 Mega Cab with diesel that I carried an Outfitter Apex 8 on for a few years until my lovely bride said no more so now I am carrying a Northern Lite 811 which handles great.
I do have air bags.
I use the camper mostly for fishing trip and disasters.Love the combo.
