Are you going with the 4x4? Unless I missed something, the load charts are for a 2x4. The 6.4L Hemi's have higher payloads simply because the engine is lighter.
The 6.4L Hemi will start easier in a South Dakota winter and, from what I've heard, will give you about the same fuel economy. That said, the 6.7L Cummins will get you up and down mountains with more authority. How long is your daily commute/drive? Diesels like to get warm and run for a while, whereas gassers tolerate starting and shutting off better. Maintenance on the Hemi will probably be cheaper and it runs on four cylinders on the highway with no load.
